This statement is made voluntarily by HealthProcure Intel in the spirit of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. HealthProcure Intel is a small, early-stage company and currently falls below the turnover threshold (£36 million) at which a statement is a legal requirement under Section 54 of the Act. We choose to publish one regardless, because transparency about how we run our business shouldn't wait until we're required to provide it, and because our customers, many of whom operate under strict public-sector supply chain standards, reasonably expect it of the partners they work with.

1.Our Organisation
HealthProcure Intel is a healthcare procurement intelligence platform, aggregating publicly available tender and contract award data from sources including TED Europa, SAM.gov, WHO Procurement, and NHS Supply Chain. We operate a software-as-a-service (SaaS) API and dashboard product. We are a small, remote-first company at an early stage of growth.
2.Our Business & Supply Chains
Our operations are digital and services-based, which inherently limits our exposure to the higher-risk supply chains (physical manufacturing, raw materials, large-scale labour-intensive production) most associated with modern slavery risk. Our supply chain consists principally of:
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (e.g. Railway, Supabase)
- Payment processing services (Stripe)
- Standard business software and productivity tools
- Occasional professional services (legal, accounting, contracted development)
We do not manufacture physical goods, operate factories, or engage labour-intensive physical supply chains.
3.Our Policies
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains. As we grow and formalise HR and procurement functions, we will introduce a dedicated internal anti-slavery and human trafficking policy, alongside our existing commitment to fair treatment of any contractors and employees we engage.
4.Due Diligence
As part of our efforts to identify and mitigate risk, we:
- Engage suppliers that are established, reputable providers of cloud infrastructure and business software
- Only engage contractors and any future employees on fair, transparent, and lawful terms
- Will extend formal supplier due diligence as our supply chain grows in size and complexity
5.Risk Assessment
Given the nature of our business, a digital software product with a small, remote, professional supply chain, we assess our current exposure to modern slavery risk as low. We will reassess this as our team, customer base, and supplier relationships grow, particularly if we ever engage suppliers with physical manufacturing or logistics operations.
6.Training & Awareness
As a solo-founder business today, awareness of modern slavery risk begins with the founder. As we hire, we commit to ensuring anyone involved in supplier selection or procurement decisions receives appropriate training on identifying and responding to modern slavery risk.
7.Measuring Effectiveness
Given our size, we currently measure effectiveness qualitatively, through the deliberate, informed selection of reputable suppliers and partners. As we grow, we will introduce more formal KPIs and reporting, consistent with the scale of our supply chain.
8.Approval
This statement has been approved by the founder and director of HealthProcure Intel, and will be reviewed and updated annually, or sooner if our business or supply chains change materially.
